This platform earned its operating license and went live in production. I led the nine-person engineering team that built it. That was before my freelance career. I was Head of IT then, managing two fintech products: this remittance platform and a payment gateway.
Challenge
The business needed auditable transfers across multiple corridors, with compliance involved throughout. Operators needed faster ways to pull data, check status, and flag transfers that got stuck.
Solution
I led the team through transfer lifecycle services, compliance screening support, ledger updates, and status event flows. We built automations and dashboards, so operators could pull operational data faster than checking scattered sources by hand.
Impact
The system launched in production with its operating license secured. Every transaction is tracked end-to-end, with audit trails, status history, and full operator visibility. Dashboards replaced scattered manual checks, letting the team spot stuck transfers and support compliance review with clear operational data.
