Cross-border Money Transfer Platform
This platform earned its operating license and went live in production. I led the nine-person team that built it as Head of IT. The same team also worked on payment services. This work took place before my freelance career.
Challenge
The business needed traceable transfers across several cross-border routes. The compliance team needed to review transactions, while operators needed to check status and identify delayed transfers. Information was spread across different sources, making manual review time-consuming.
Solution
I led development of the transfer lifecycle. The system covers compliance review support, balance record updates, and transaction status history. Balance records provide a basis for matching incoming and outgoing funds.
We also built automated data retrieval and operational dashboards. Operators can gather information in one place to review transactions, without checking separate sources one by one.
Impact
The system runs in production with its operating license secured. Teams can trace each transaction, status change, and activity record. Dashboards help operators find delayed transfers and prepare information for compliance review.
