Visitor & Facility Access Integration

Operators previously checked two applications to understand on-site activity. This project connects visitor management with a facility control platform. Arrivals, appointments, facility access, and monitoring information now appear in one dashboard.

Challenge

One system manages facility access and monitoring. Another records visitors and appointments. Teams need to see the relationship between the two without switching applications or matching records manually.

Solution

I built operational data exchange between the systems and gave their records a consistent format. The dashboard shows access events alongside visitor records. Operators can see daily activity status and situations that require review.

Impact

Visitor arrivals can be matched to related access events. Anomalies in one system appear with information from the other. Operators get fuller context when investigating an issue, without searching two separate screens.
